Familiar in All Ports
With introduction of ISPS-Codes (International Ship and Port Security Code) the operators of port facilities sustained extensive duties.
Port facilities obtain support for tasks like
- the working-out of plans for protection against threats
- the carrying out of risk evaluation
- the use of certified PFSO (Port Facility Security Officer)
by an acknowledged authority for risk prevention, a so called RSO - Recognized Security Organization.
Those are to be understood as officially checked and certified companies, which are able and allowed to adduce those extensive services.
Already since the entry into force of the ISPS-Codes in 2004 WAKO is certified as RSO in the following federal states of Germany:
- Lower Saxony and
- North Rhine-Westphalia
